Please note that this is not (yet) a book review. I just received my copy of The Tony Evans Bible Commentary and am looking forward to reading it in sections and chunks as I use it as an aid in studying various portions of Scripture.
The reason I’m so wholeheartedly recommending it is that I trust Dr. Tony Evans. I’ve read many of his books. I’ve used his devotionals in my personal quiet times with God. I listen to him preach regularly via his podcast. He’s solid. He’s biblical grounded and culturally relevant.
