Designing an email newsletter can be tricky for several reasons. First, there are a ton of email clients (Outlook, Gmail, etc.) that don’t always act like very good web browsers, so the email can look different from one client to the next and from one device to the next.

The design needed to be clean and professional while also being colorful and attention-getting. And it needed to match, in some dimensions, the design of its host website, NWALook.com.
