Slow is not a retreat from meaningful work. It is a way of resisting the pressure to live hurried, scattered, and reactive, so we can become more present to God, to ourselves, and to the people we are called to love and lead.
In this essay, I reflect on why speed can be useful without becoming virtuous, why hurry carries a spiritual cost, and why leaders often need the courage to slow down before they can lead with clarity.
