I am an affiliate marketer in the sense that I often post links to products and if purchases are made by readers who click those links, I would receive a percentage of the sale as commission. I only promote products I believe in. You can usually spot my affiliate links by seeing “/go/” in the destination url. I use the MaxblogPress Ninja Affiliate Plugin to create these cloaked links for two reasons: 1.) so that my links don’t get hi-jacked and 2.) because they look cooler and more trustworthy than things like “http://www.maxblogpress.com/go.php?offer=egracec&pid=31.”
