Just this week, I’ve completed work on the blog and website of Scott Couchenour, a great life and ministry coach with a heart for people. He had in mind to bring together his blogging and coaching identities under one roof, so to speak. Scott strikes me as the guy you want to get close to when life feels chaotic because of his ability to restore calm. Therefore, I styled his site accordingly. It’s easy on the eyes, utilizes earth tones and a simple, scrolling left navigation.
The logo splits when you scroll. Scott asked for something just slightly grungy with a cross, so we wound up with the S+S as an icon and a serif font for the lettering.
And in case you’re wondering, it’s built on WordPress using Standard Theme as a framework and hosted by me.
