Add a Favicon to Balance of Blue

Here’s how…

1. Open up header.php.

Just below the tag, but before the <link … tags, create a blank line and add this code…</p> <p><link rel=”shortcut icon” href=”<?php bloginfo(’template_directory’); ?>/favicon.ico” type=”image/x-icon” /></p> <p>2. Create a favicon file and store it in the theme directory. It now includes support for tags and gravatars, and is grid-based. To the right you will notice an image that has been given a caption, aligned to the right, and scaled to a medium size. And then below this paragraph is an image with center alignment, full size (500 pixels is the WP default for full size).
