Revival at Eastside

Last night I finished a series of revival services at Eastside Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Their pastor, James Goff, formerly served as Assistant Pastor at Bethel and has been at Eastside now for eleven years. Our services were times of divine blessings as God spoke powerfully through His Word.

I was personally blessed not only by the love of the congregation, but by the deepening friendship of Bro. Goff. We discovered that we shared a deep conviction about the need for expository preaching, and that we both approach the practice by preaching without taking written notes to the pulpit. I’m so thankful for every man in ministry today who stands confidently upon the Word as the ultimate source of each message.
